INTEGRATION AND DEPLOYMENT

Connect physical inventory and picking with your ERP or WMS

SLIM measures stock at monitored locations. Pick To Light guides operators and captures confirmations. The application connects these records with the business systems your team already uses.

The interface, records exchanged and approval rules are defined for your installation. We test the complete workflow before expanding it.

EXAMPLE: LINE-SIDE REPLENISHMENT

From a low-stock reading to a refill request

This example shows a configured workflow. The pilot establishes which steps your installation will support.

  1. SLIM measures the bin balance

Parts are used at a workstation. The monitored bin reports its remaining stock.

  2. The application checks the refill threshold

The reading is matched to the item and location, then compared with your agreed refill level.

  3. The supply team receives a request

The application raises an alert or exchanges a replenishment record with the ERP or WMS through the agreed interface.

  4. The refill is confirmed

The application records the replenishment using the measurements or operator inputs defined for the workflow.

WHAT WE CONNECT

Define the records each system needs

ERP means enterprise resource planning; WMS means warehouse management system. Your existing systems retain their business rules and approvals.

Item and location data

Agree item codes, unit of measure, storage locations and any required order, batch or task identifiers.

Measurements and confirmations

Map SLIM quantity readings and Pick To Light operator confirmations to the corresponding item, location and task.

Business records and exceptions

Define the permitted inventory updates, refill requests or task confirmations, including approval, retry and exception handling.

DEPLOYMENT CHOICES

Fit the application to your IT and operator requirements

ERP / WMS integration

Confirm the available interfaces, data mapping and authorization with your IT team.

Multilingual operator applications

Agree the supported languages and terminology operators need at the point of work.

On-premise or cloud

Choose where the application runs and define network access, user permissions and data responsibilities.

Phased expansion

Validate one workflow, then plan additional locations, departments or sites using the proven setup.

PLAN THE PILOT

What to bring to an integration discussion

  • The ERP or WMS you use and the contact responsible for its interfaces
  • The inventory or picking task you want to improve
  • Representative item, location and transaction records
  • Your network, hosting, user-access and language requirements
  • The measures you will use to accept the pilot
